- Hydrus Connect: Hydrus Connect has implemented an AI chatbot for the websites they manage, enhancing user interaction and support. This technological advancement showcases the innovative spirit within our network.
- Team Expansion:
- Tammy Alumbaugh: Tammy Alumbaugh has successfully grown her sales team and continues to seek new talent to expand further. Her efforts highlight the growth and development opportunities present within our community.
(B) Bitchin And Benefits
Highlights:
- Maintaining Accuracy:
- We discussed strategies for maintaining accuracy in our work. Recommendations included using a CRM, triple-checking all work, making comprehensive lists, and establishing clear processes.
- Helpful Tools: The Scribe app and OtterAI were highlighted as extremely useful for summarizing meeting notes and keeping organized.
- Delegation and Training:
- A valuable discussion emerged about the importance of allowing team members to perform their own tasks to learn from their mistakes. It was noted that doing someone else’s work prevents them from developing necessary skills.
- Business Needs:
- MyoBlast: MyoBlast is currently seeking a new business location with a minimum of 1500 sq ft.
- Signage Solutions: Recommendations for good sign companies included Office Depot and PrintPlace.com.
- Printer/Copier Services: There was a noted need for better printer/copier service providers.
(L) Legal
Florida’s new child labor law takes effect Monday. On holidays and Sundays, 16 and 17-year-olds can work longer hours. Restrictions are relaxed even further for virtual and homeschooled students.
CS/CS/HB 433: Employment Regulations
The law prevents cities and counties from creating their own, wiping out a water and rest requirement that was underway in Miami-Dade County.
CS/HB 919: Artificial Intelligence Use in Political Advertising
HB 919 requires political ads with AI-made images, video or audio showing something that didn’t happen — have a disclaimer noting as much. The acknowledgment has to be a certain size and length, plus there are penalties for violators. Those violations include civil fines, even a first-degree misdemeanor charge, which carries a penalty of up to a year in jail.
